In today's modern world most people have access to internet banking and
online bill pay, recently at work my employer was promoting the good
work we do through the United Way, As a company we consistently
contribute a large amount to them for the work they do in our
community. However this year I opted out and instead I called
1-877-NRA-GIVE and got the information I needed to re-direct my normal
contribution from the United Way to the NRA Foundation. It's a simple
process to setup a payee and make a recurring monthly donation to the
NRA.
Sometimes the NRA gets money from various organizations
such as the United Way and the Combined Federal Campaign but this way I
know that they will get 100% of what I send them.
Here is the information I got from Mindy at the NRA:
make the payee: "NRA Foundation"
Address:
NRA Foundation
ATTN: Office of Advancement
11250 Waples Mill Road
Fairfax, VA 22030
In the memo field enter: "General Contribution Fund" or "Area of Greatest Need"
This
will put your donation into a fund for use to support anything the NRA
needs to do, you can also specify a fund if you desire to do so.
You can also go to this website
http://www.nragive.com for even more options.
Be safe out there
